By accessing HealingThatMatters.com, purchasing a digital guide, downloading a resource, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or purchase our products.

2. Adults only

Healing That Matters is intended for adults age 18 and older. By using the website or purchasing a product, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Educational support, not medical care

Healing That Matters provides educational and self-support resources based in part on lived experience.

The website and digital guides are not therapy, medical advice, psychological treatment, diagnosis, crisis care, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Using Healing That Matters does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, counselor-client, or other professional health-care relationship.

If you are experiencing an emergency, feel that you may harm yourself or someone else, or need immediate mental-health support, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis service in your area.

You are responsible for deciding whether a resource feels appropriate for you. You may pause, stop, or seek professional support at any time.

4. Digital products and delivery

Unless a product page clearly states otherwise, Healing That Matters products are digital products. No physical item will be shipped.

After a completed purchase, access or download information may be provided on the confirmation page, by email, or through another delivery method shown at checkout.

You are responsible for providing a correct email address and maintaining access to the device or software needed to open the digital files.

5. Prices and payments

The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase, excluding any taxes or charges that may be required by law.

Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Healing That Matters does not need to receive or store your complete payment-card number in order to complete a transaction handled by that provider.

You agree to provide accurate purchase and billing information and to use a payment method you are authorized to use.

6. 30-day refund policy

Digital guides and qualifying digital purchases made directly through Healing That Matters come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

You may request a refund within 30 calendar days of your purchase for any reason. You do not need to prove that something was wrong with the product or explain private health information.

7. Your license to use the guides

When you purchase or receive a Healing That Matters guide, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that resource for your own personal use.

Unless we give you written permission, you may not:

  • Resell or redistribute a guide.
  • Upload the guide to a public file-sharing service.
  • Copy and sell substantial portions of the content.
  • Remove copyright or ownership notices.
  • Claim the guide, writing, artwork, framework, or design as your own.
  • Use the content to create a competing commercial product.

You may download, save, and print your purchased resource for your own personal use.
